Position Description

Applicants are invited to apply for the above vacancy within the Marketing Department, based at the Port of Liverpool.

Role Purpose: To support the Group Digital Lead with the planning and execution of all group digital activity including website, CRM and social media.

This role will include the following responsibilities:

-Helping with day to day digital marketing activities, including running social media campaigns created by the Group Digital Manager
-Working with the group website, updating content and images, as well as managing and updating social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
-Ensuring the Peel Ports Group brand reputation is enhanced in all digital activity and the voice/style of Peel Ports is consistent across all activity
-Starting and running social media campaigns created by the Group Digital Lead
Supporting the Digital Manager with performance analysis on Google analytics, social media campaigns and email marketing campaigns
-Assisting with the development and deployment of content plans; including Blogs, Social Media, Press release management and Asset management
-Produce the monthly digital dashboard report
-Edit digital content produced internally, including the production of story boards and film footage, briefed by the marketing team
-You will study towards gaining an IDM Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing (Dip DigM)

Required Experience

Applicants interested in this role should ideally possess the following skills and experience:

-5 GCSE grades or equivalent, including Maths and English
-Ability to work as part of a team to tight deadlines
-A keen interest of digital marketing – website, social media, blogs and e-marketing
-Positive attitude within the work place
-A creative eye with the confidence to share ideas
-Experience of using Google Analytics and Umbracco CMS is desirable
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
-Experience in a commercial environment would be an advantage but not essential
-An interest in Graphic design and experience in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop would be an advantage
-Enthusiastic with the ability to self-motivate and work closely with core business functions across multiple locations
